The exterior of Granny's Schoolhouse was built to resemble an old-fashioned schoolhouse. It is complete with a bell tower. One step inside and you certainly know that this is a state-of-the-art facility. The cheery interior features separate classrooms for each age group. A glass window corridor down the center hall provides visibility to all classrooms. For maximum learning experience all classrooms are self contained. Each classroom has two bathrooms, a water fountain, and an art sink. Doors from the classrooms lead directly to each of the three fenced-in areas where children have the opportunity to play and explore with others of their own age group. Each of the playgrounds has its own water fountain. Once outside, the children delight at the trike trail, the old-fashioned grocery store, teeter-totters, slides, climbing forts, and lots of open space for adventure.

Who was Granny?

Granny was my Grandmother, a lady of great faith and unconditional love. Her home was a place to escape, a place where a child was the center of attention. A daughter of a Baptist Minister, she was the youngest of eight girls who grew up on a farm outside of Moberly, Missouri. She taught my sisters and me a great deal about right and wrong, love and respect. She was full of fun and always glad to see us. She died 20 days before her 88th birthday in 1993. We Miss her very much.

Now I am Granny!

It is my most sincere hope that I can combine my educational background and her memory to provide your child with an extended family and the best educational daycare available.
